We breed 1 - 4 litters of puppies each year. We do not do it for a living, we do it because we love it!!! We have concentrated on producing show-quality puppies, who are intelligent, have superior physical characteristics, & good temperaments. Our puppies are handled daily by our family of six, are well socialized, and are easily integrated into any loving and attentive family.
Our puppies take their first trip to the veterinarian when they are 3 days old. They have their dew claws removed at that time, are weighed, and are completely checked over to ensure good health. When our puppies go home with their new owners at 8 weeks old, they have had their dew claws removed, their first puppy shot, and have been preventative wormed 2-4 times.
Labrador Retrievers can have hereditary hip and eye problems. Because it is of the utmost importance to us to breed healthy, happy, quality animals, all dogs bred at Tornado Kennels have had their hips O.F.A. approved at "good" or "excellent," their elbows cleared, and their eyes C.E.R.F. certified annually. We guarantee all Tornado Kennel puppies to be free from hereditary hip, elbow, and eye problems until their 2nd birthday, at which time they are old enough to be approved and certified themselves.
